We’re pleased to announce that TGP has been awarded a landmark contract to provide end-to-end logistics services for a major hydrogen project in the Netherlands.
The first series of shipments for this project has already been successfully completed, including an oversized cargo transported from Vietnam to the Netherlands. This shipment included a diverse range of items including skids, modules, construction materials, and boiler components. In total, we managed 2,513 CBM of cargo, weighing 546 metric tons and consisting of 111 items. From ocean freight to last-mile delivery, our end-to-end logistics plan ensured a seamless and safe transit, showcasing our expertise in handling complex, large-scale operations.
A second shipment of oversized cargo is currently on its way from China, involving a two-port loading, to the Netherlands. It includes 6,690 CBM of cargo, weighing 1,704 metric tons and comprising 235 items.
This transformative project will involve the transport of 89,000 CBM of cargo in total, including 77 heavy-lift and out-of-gauge moves, with shipments running from January 2025 to April 2026. The largest piece—a CO2 absorber—measures an impressive 65.40 x 5.80 x 5.80 meters and weighs 390 metric tons.
We are honoured to play a role in this innovative project, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pave the way for a sustainable energy transition.
Our teams are ready and equipped to handle the challenges ahead, ensuring that all project requirements are met with precision, efficiency, and care.
